IranKhodadd Jamaspian, who was a FIH Umpire and an official of Iran Hockey Association in the 1970s informs me that Sikhs played hockey in Iran in the 1960s and 1970s. He recalls Ranjit Singh who played for Taj Club in Teharan around the time of the Asian Games in Tehran in 1974. Gurbir Mansingh was a well known umpire around that time.
