Sikhs in Hockey in Scotland

Karam Singh Bhachu arrived in Scotland from Kenya in 1964 and joined Dundee Wanderers Hockey Club. He played and then umpired for the Club until 1982 and always retained his interest in hockey and his Club.

He died at the age of 82 on 12 November 2010. Since then the Bhachu family has been involved in hockey in Dundee. 

Amritpal Singh Bhachu, grandson of Karam, is the third generation of Bhachu family to play for Dundee Teams.
